Recently at Kauri Academy students and staff celebrated our very own Midwinter Christmas lunch on July 9th. Everyone came together to prepare the food and decorations and to make it a special and fun day, filled with Christmas ham and the Kiwi classic Pavlova. It was a great event and no doubt will become a yearly tradition here at our Kauri Academy family.

Our Academic Manager Marie had this to say about the day, “Thanks to all students and staff for making this a great festive occasion. The diversional therapy students excelled in their preparation of the food as part of class activities. The decoration of the level 2 area was awesome with some very inventive wreaths and Christmas trees. Sad to say it was the last event for three students who have now finished their programme, but we hope to keep in touch!”
